DOWN THE HILL

Walking down the hill

Everything's clear the air is still

And my eyes are still diving into this scene

Just the two of us walking down the hill

It's 4 am in the morning

And the wind is nowhere to be found

Just our footsteps evolving

And nothing else makes a sound

Across the road there is a field

A fog is settling in

Like a cloud above the soil

Like a drop of milk in a mug

And we jump off the fence

And take a step into this place

Surrounded like in a nest

Everything's blury and we contemplate

The stars, high

The smoke in front of our eyes

The grass all wet

So many hours after the sunset

She turned her face towards me

Approaching slowly

Then everything started to melt

The two of us and the rest

Then everything started to melt

The two of us and the rest

Walking down the hill

Everything's clear the air is still

And my eyes are still diving into this scene

Just the two of us walking down the hill
